Great American Cleanup March 19 – June 20
As stated on Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation website
Each spring, volunteers join hands to engage in the nation’s largest community improvement program. During this time, we coordinate litter pickups, recycling drives and beautification activities.
Activities include removing litter and debris from roadsides, highways, shorelines, and waterways; cleaning and restoring nature trails, recreation areas, and playgrounds; recycling everything from electronics to household hazardous waste; and planting trees, flowers, and gardens. The Great American Cleanup is a shining example of how lasting, positive change happens when people work together.
Keep Rabun Invites everyone in our community to take part during the Great American Cleanup. We have vest, grabbers, garbage bags and more available to you for a neighborhood cleanup. Our office is located at 10 Seedtick Rd in the Rabun County Welcome Center across from Clayton Health and Fitness.
We would also like to encourage you to a beautification project, plant some tree and flowers. Rabun County is a beautiful. Let’s join together to keep it clean and green.
